Advanced 2D - Sound and Recoloured Photoshop Tree

I asked my friend Simon Rose to create my sound as I liked his music and knew he could crete something to this style.

The first score he created did not fit the animation and i could see what he tried to do but when i showed it to people they were more distracted by the strumming and did not focus on the animation.

This is the score with the animatic:

So when i gave him feedback i sent hims some of the animation and he got a better feel of what i wanted. Which was something that did not have too much going on in it and was not perfect sounding. I did not want it to take away from my animation or to be too loud over the narration.

This one was better but when i played it with the animatic it was too fast.

I then took it into audition and played around with the tempo of it trying it to make it fit more with the animation timing.

I feel it goes with my animation now that I have slowed it down a bit.

I didn't want to add sound effects as I thought that would take away and be too much noise along with the score and the narration

This is the tree growing redone in Photoshop to try and get the right sketchy style, and I feel it looks better and is now the style I wanted it to be. I will be using this in my final animation but i need to figure out how to create it in Tvpaint as Photoshop is not the best way to do it. It is very time consuming.
