Innovative - Final Animation Initial Ideas

I was researching and having a look at different kinds of animations when i came across this music video.

I liked the fact it was done using paper cut outs and using different coloured paper. It made it look very different compare to lotte Reiniger style we had already looked at. I also liked the story and how the animation was about a man going on a journey. I may do a journey for my final film, or the seasons changing but with couloured paper.

I started to research the company and the director that created the animation.

While i was researching his website I came across a film about an artist called Henr Matisse who after developing a disease could not paint anymore and instead started to cut out coloured paper to create his artwork.

After researching I want to create an animation abut a journey but using coloured paper cut outs. (someone walking and the scenes changing colour, or a car journey) I am also wondering about combining this stye with the Osbert Parker style and having a cut out from a film with the background in coloured paper.

By next week I want to have my final story sorted and to have a firm plan of what I am going to do.
