Innovative - Week 6 - Wendy Tilby and Amanda Forbis

After we presented the animations we had been creating each week we looked at Wendy Tilby and Amanda Forbis.
This is the link to their joint website.

The first animation we looked at of theirs was called 'When the Day Breaks'

This piece was created by filming live action, then printing each sequence out and painting oil pastels onto it. This style is very effective and i like how that in parts you can see parts of the live action still, not all of it has been painted out.

We also looked at this commercial they did in the same oil painting style for United Airlines.

Individual Animation:

For next week we were asked to think of ideas for what we could do for our individual animations. I really enjoyed working in the stye of Blu and Osbert Parker and would like to do an animation combining both of them. I will research for next week.
